ZRI Workshop

The ever-popular ZRI will lead their workshop on fiery Klezmer/Gypsy improvisation that will suit all players and all instruments.  Participants will have the chance to prepare a joint number with ZRI in the evening concert, if they wish.

ZRI - Cellar Sessions

Gypsy/Jazz/Classical/Klezmer band returns to the Festival by popular demand!

After last year’s sell-out Charlie Chaplin programme, ZRI now bring us the original Cellar Sessions ‘from inside the imaginary heart of the Red Hedgehog Tavern in late 19th century Vienna’; with tunes from Bach to Taylor Swift, all given the special Gypsy-Jazz-Klezmer treatment that makes you leap to your feet to dance.

The Petersfield Choir & SouthDowns Camerata

A Choral Spectacular

Conducted by Tom Lydon, choir and orchestra combine for Baroque master-works, including Monteverdi’s Beatus Vir and Charpentier’s Te Deum, plus new works by Clive Osgood and Alessandro Timossi.

Skye Blue Trio

Chamber music for Clarinet / Violin / Piano by Mozart, Brahms, Milhaud and Khachaturian.

Hannah McGleish, Ryan Penman and Anthony McCarthy met whilst serving as musicians in the Royal Air Force. They will perform well-loved works by Mozart, Brahms and Milhaud.

Children's Strings Workshop

This workshop for string playing children will include the preparation of Libertango and Por Una Cabeza to be performed in tomorrow's family concert.

Family Concert: The SouthDowns Camerata including the Young SouthDowns Strings

Enjoy music-making for the whole community with Mozart’s ‘Eine Kleine Nachtmusik’, a Telemann recorder concerto, exuberant Latin music, and ‘Home’ by Dorry Macaulay.

Featuring the Petersfield Area Schools’ String Orchestra and young soloists with Liss Forest Ballet School.

Angela Zanders presents Mozart

With The SouthDowns Camerata and soloist Sara Deborah Timossi.

Angela makes classical music accessible to broad audiences combining illustrated talks with superb performances. Here she’ll present three of Mozart’s popular piano and violin concerti.
