‘Zum Roten Igel’ (ZRI) – Schubert through the looking glass

Schubert’s String Quintet re-scored and explored through Klezmer, Gypsy and Eastern-European Folk tunes and dances. Expect fiery music full of vigour, passion and wild energy!

Elgar: The Man behind the Mask

An exclusive evening with award-winning film director, John Bridcut, presenting his film on British composer, Edward Elgar.

Featuring filmed performances of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Schola Cantorum Oxford and renowned soloists. Introduction and question & answer session.

SouthDowns Camerata

A family-friendly orchestral concert where classical music becomes a feast for the whole community.

The SouthDowns Camerata offer exuberant music from the Baroque to the present, including the premiere of ‘Fire Elegy’ by composer, Dorry Macaulay, a Handel concerto with renowned organist Richard Pearce, and Danish folk music featuring the Young SouthDowns Strings.
